British, Chinese and American, 19th century, fourteen Chinese mother-of-pearl gaming pieces engraved with geometric designs on one side and pagodas on the other 1-1/2 and 2 in. with 15 rectangular and circular celluloid gaming pieces colored red and green 1-1/2 and 2-5/8 in., some scratches, but generally good condition; hand cranked rackwork magic lantern hand-colored slide of a windmill mounted in wooden frame 9 in. overall, good condition; two clay marbles recovered from the cistern of a building in Atlanta where they were made, one blue, one green (marble factory active 1820-1837), 1-1/2 in. diameter good condition; two pearlware children‘s cups one with brown transfer "A TRIFLE/FOR CHARLES", the other in blue transfer "CHARLES" surrounded by various scrolls 2-5/8 in. and 2-3/8 in. respectively, some anomalies as made, light stains on blue cup; "Spelling Alphabet" consisting of a small mahogany box with sliding cover containing numerous bone tiles, each with a single capital or lower case letter for use in a spelling game, 2 x 5-1/4 x 3 3/4 in..
