Portrait Dresser Boxes
probably French, late 19th/early 20th century, each finely crafted of gilt metal and inset with portrait of court beauties: oval with blue enamel double band, portrait signed but unreadable, 3-1/8 in. diameter; blue enameled phoenix and floral border on hinged top, hand-painted portrait unsigned, 2-3/4 in. diameter; rectangular with fine portrait of a woman in pink dress and signed "Perio", impressed verso "France", 1-1/16 x 3-1/2 in.; square footed box, hand-painted portrait signed "Riviere", base with four feet, 2 x 3-1/4 in..
