possibly United States, Paleozoic Period, fine example of extinct marine arthropod related to modern-day crabs, lobsters, shrimp, spiders and insects, 3-1/4 x 7-3/4 in.; stone cave painting fragment depicting figures, one corner with museum accession number .2564, 4-1/2 x 10-3/4 x 10-1/2 in., reasonably good condition . Notes: The arthropod flourished in prehistoric salt waters during the early to middle Paleozoic age.
