salt glaze jug with coggle decoration at shoulder, collared neck, strap handle, 9 in., small crock with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, 5-3/4 in., both stamped "W.H. HANCOCK", circa late 1800s, Moore and Cumberland Counties; small salt glazed quart jug, ring decoration at neck, applied curled strap handle, collared rim, stamped "MOFFITT", possibly attributed to M.R. Moffitt, circa 1890, Randolph County, 8 in.; salt glazed flared rim ovoid preserve jar, possibly attributed to Timothy Boggs, circa 1870s, Alamance County, 8-3/4 in.; runny green alkaline glazed short jug, rounded form, applied ridged strap handle, straight spout, collared rim, 9 in.

glaze voids and anomalies as made, surface wear and abrasions, base edge chips and wear, clay body anomalies, Hancock jug with three areas of clay body burnouts, repaired spout and handle, jar with various exterior and interior rim chips, losses to undersides of both handles, 2-1/2 in. tiny hairline down from rim, Moffitt jug with kiln debris, three chips to strap handle, stabilized hairline from base edge to mid body, 1 in. chip to base edge, jar with abrasions to rim, 1 in. rim chip, jug with under fired glaze, minor rim chip, kiln drip at handle, wear to exterior
