platter bearing armorial of Aguado de las Marismas family (Spain) with two black greyhounds as supporters and motto NIGRA SUM SED (I am black, but pretty), circa 1780, 13-1/4 in., cracked through center and repaired; together with four 18th-century Chinese export porcelain table articles, including a large tankard with entwined strap handle polychrome painted with Chinese figures in domestic settings, 5-3/4 in., rim has several small chips, enamel and gilding show wear; and three bowls including two painted with flowers and one with Chinese figures in a garden, 6 in. to 7 in., rims rough on two, the third with crack from rim to center . Notes: The armorial service is associated with the family of Alexandre-Jose-Marie-Leon-Pierre-Paul-Raymond Louis de Gonzague Aguado (Spain, 1785-1842), aide de camp of the Duke of Dalmatia in 1810 and banker for the court of Spain from 1815 to 1830.
