Bronze Tabernacle Door
Continental, probably French, 19th century, shaped and etched door mounted with figure of a lamb fronting a cross and banner, broad hinges with floral terminals, blue-enameled latticework bronze frame with outer band and rosettes at screws, reverse with enameled floral banding flanking central engraved figure of a chalice surmounted by two doves, central ring pedestal and three standing saints applied in silver, [Venize Adoremus] at top in red enamel, 14 x 8-3/4 x 1-3/4 in., with scrolling wrought iron stand, one hinge missing and the other bent from frame, missing four bronze screws on floral border inside figural heads, scratches to surface, no key.
