Japanese, 20th century, chest with hinged loop handle, enameled peacock top over three graduated drawers with gilt loop pulls, side panels with birds on branches, reverse with a peacock in a tree, gilt brass bracket feet, base with circular mark, 7-1/4 x 5-1/2 x 4-1/4 in.; on carved and ebonized teakwood stand, 2 x 7-1/4 x 8 in., chest and stand in good condition.
