Inlaid Tall Case Clock
dial signed "Wm Tomlinson London", early 18th century, gilt and silvered dial with seconds hand and date aperture, the elaborately inlaid case with leaf and shell strapwork, bookmatched and line-inlaid walnut case sides, with weights, 86-1/2 x 19-1/2 x 10 in.. restorations to base (foot molding and part of backboard replaced, other possible restorations), typical scattered cracks and warping including at box base, saddleboard possibly replaced (reshaped at underside), dial with some surface wear and area of distress at right side
