German, late 19th century, inscription on back of lower case "R.S. 35 Franfurt(?)…", figured walnut veneered case in two parts, upper case with glazed door and pierce-carved spandrels containing Polyphon mechanism, lower case with fall-front compartment containing eleven musical discs, 83-1/2 x 33-1/2 x 19-1/4 in. case generally good condition with minor pest damage, feet off but present, lacking crown pediment, minor breaks and losses to pierced carving, some surface and other finish flaws.
