British, early 19th century, with lion mask and leaf decorated frieze over a rectangular mirror plate, 58-1/2 x 31 in.
good condition overall, lower back boards replaced, scattered minor chips to gilding and some cracks to ornament, mirror plate likely replaced (not removed for exam)
