Charleston or possibly Camden or Columbia, South Carolina, 1790-1810, figured mahogany top with triple line inlay and rounded corners, single dovetailed drawer with figured lightwood facing inset with mahogany oval, flanked by inlaid rose figural patera, line inlaid tapered legs, reverse with inlaid false drawer, poplar drawers secondary with pine frame and birch leaf supports, 28-3/4 x 20-1/4 x 32 in.

very good structural condition, top with sun fading, stains, abrasions, and wear, minor losses and restorations to inlay, roughness at drawer edges and one loss at beading, probably original brasses (lacking backplates)
