French, possibly 16th century, with crowned figure of the Virgin holding a scepter, standing above a turned plinth surrounded by six scrolled candle arms with dragon's head terminals, heart pierced bobeches with pierced candle cups, lion mask form drop, mellow patinated surface, wired for electricity, 27-1/2 x 26-1/2 in. - Provenance: Estate of Paul W. Doll, Jr., Lake Toxaway, North Carolina
appears to be in very good condition overall, wired for electricity with small holes at bobeches and at central terminal, lion mask drop now held with small wooden pins, some minor bending, expected surface spotting
