attributed to Ephraim Haines, Philadelphia, circa 1805, retaining an old dark possibly original surface, reeded crest with finely leaf and rosette carved decoration, reeded back, arm, arms supports, and legs, serpentine front seat rail, brick red silk upholstery, 35 x 41-3/4 x 19-3/4 in.

Condition

minor repairs and some color retouch at joint of arms to rear stiles, crack and minor repair at lower rail of back, crack and repair at top of one arm support, other typical bumps and surface flaws consistent with age and use, upholstery in good condition
