Circular Drop-Leaf Dining Table, Newport, Rhode Island, 18th century, highly figured top with two drop leaves, richly grained solid mahogany, double gates with mahogany gates, chestnut and mahogany secondary frame, 28-1/2 x 21 x 60 in. Condition: good overall condition, underside of top with some later braces, some holes at underside (probably from leaf stops), some minor checking to legs; old crack and repair to top with metal brackets underneath, crack and repair to one foot, other flaws associated with age and use, frame likely reconfigured.
