the works engraved by Thomas Parker, late 18th century, mahogany case, pagoda form top with brass handle and finials, brass bracket feet, painted metal dial with foliate spandrels, subsidiary dial with "strike" in arch, escapement with hour drop hammer strike on a bell at the top of the movement and hour repeater string on the side of the case, scrolled floral engraved brass back plate and signed "Thos. Parker/Philadelphia", with pendulum and key, 18 in.
