Mahogany Chest on Chest Philadelphia, 1760-1780, with a fine dentil-molded and blind-fret cornice, well-figured mahogany throughout, dovetailed drawers with poplar and white cedar secondary flanked by fluted quarter columns, the base with original ogee bracket feet, 80-3/4 x 47 x 24 in.. Condition: excellent condition overall, brasses replaced with plugged holes and some color retouch, typical minor flaws to drawer lips, original feet and composite blocking with only minor breaks to side facings, case sides lacking fretwork appliques.
