Polychromed Porcelain Coolers
English, circa 1820, each with finely gilt lid opening to an interior with removable insert, urn-form bodies with interlaced handles and fine gilt and floral decoration, 14-1/4 in., one with interior of body with extensive cracks, chip and repair at rim with associated crack, repair at finial attachment of lid, chip to insert support, insert with break and professional staple repair; the second with minor chip to interior rim of lid, probable repair at finial attachment, insert generally good condition, body with several interior cracks (one extending from rim into body and with associated minor repair), chips to insert supports, one probable repair at handle attachment, both with scattered wear and losses to gilding, some edge wear, light crazing and stains and other flaws, lids and inserts very slightly ill-fitting.
