Pennsylvania, 18th century, each with yoke crest over vasiform splat, on stretcher bases with cabriole legs and stocking feet, chairs marked "I" and "V", period oak slip seats also marked "I" and "V", 40 in., seat height 18 in.

Condition

very good condition, minor repair at joint of crest rail to rear stiles, scattered minor finish wear, one seat frame with later shims to support slip seat, other typical minor bumps and wear at knees and feet
