late 19th century, stamped "G. DURAND" for Gervais-Maximillien-Eugene Durand, Paris, sloped serpentine pediment centered by a rocaille medallion, banded arched door with glass panel flanked by shelves with foliate stiles and acanthine scrolls, serpentine base with frieze drawer, pierced rocaille and cabochon mounted knees, bronze dore lined cabriole legs terminating in foliate sabots, 70 x 43-1/4 x 20 in.

Condition

both in a fine state of preservation overall, vitrines are attached to stands by flathead screws, bronze mounts with a fine old patina and light wear and rubbing to gilt finish, small shrinkages scattered throughout kingwood and inlays expected with age, some minor inlay loss and small surface repairs, surfaces have been well-cleaned, backs show cracks along mirror backing near screws, small areas of veneer lifting, legs with minor veneer cracks, other scattered wear and imperfections from age and usage
