base attributed to Baltimore, circa 1825, set with Italian pietra dura specimen marble top with radiating design centering a micromosaic medallion depicting doves of Pliny, figured mahogany circular base with column support, trefoil stand with lobed feet set on casters, appears to be white pine and black walnut secondary, 30-1/2 x 35 x 35 in.
