Plains, probably Lakota Sioux, late 19th century, the buckskin bag finely beaded with seed beads with central triangular and teepee-form designs on white ground with borders on both sides, blue beads on one side, red beads verso, wrapped porcupine quills below, beaded band and rawhide strap, 39 x 7-1/4 in., in hand-crafted Lucite case, 42-1/4 x 9-3/4 x 2-1/2 in., losses to beading at top edge and separations at sides, two quillwork pieces broken at top, extensive losses to red wraps.
