French, 19th century,˜gilt bronze urn form case, decorated with acanthus leaves and serpent, with two rotating annular enameled dials denoting minutes and hour in Arabic and Roman numerals, mounted on a patinated bronze pillar form base, with inset gilt bronze stalks, and draped with hinged cloth swag, back stalk lifts up to release door and expose inner mechanisms, all mounted on a stepped gilt bronze base, with pendulum, 18-5/8 in., Provenance: Private Collection, Charlotte, North Carolina

Condition

some losses and discoloration to gilt surfaces, few minor casting flaws, enameled plaques with scattered hairlines, some with repaired cracks, some reglued to annulus, surface dirt layer and other scattered losses, other minor surface wear and abrasions consistent with age and use; winder key likely associated˜ ˜
Purchased items will then be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
