Bachelor‘s Chest British, 18th century, highly figured bookmatched veneers throughout, banded fold-over top over a pull-out brush slide with leather lining, four dovetailed drawers with oak linings and original brasses and escutcheons, 30-3/4 x 30 x 13-1/2 in., 27 in. open. possibly original bat-wing brasses (no plugged holes), original feet with some restorations and repairs, later blocks at back and some possible reveneering, other scattered cracks and flaws to veneers including one chip at back edge of top
