Mirrored-Door Desk and Bookcase British, 18th century, upper case with beveled and arched mirrored doors opening to an adjustable shelved interior, lower case with fallboard opening to a finely veneered fitted interior over five dovetailed drawers with oak linings and engraved brass pulls, straight bracket feet, 81 x 42 x 23-3/4 in., brasses and lower case backboard replaced, mirror plates with some distress (possibly original, not removed), warping and veneer patches to desk interior floor, scattered molding and veneer cracks, losses and repairs overall, period feet with extensive veneer losses, distress and later rear brackets, some small molding pieces off but present.
