New York, circa 1815, attributed to Duncan Phyfe, molded saber legs and carved back with c-scroll and acanthus leaf, ash secondary, modern upholstery, 32-1/2 x 18-1/4 x 20-1/2 in.
good overall, retains a dark mellow patina, some areas of abrasion to finish, reglued piece on top of one leg, wear consistent with use and age, modern upholstery with light wear and dirt
