Convex Girondole Mirror
probably American, circa 1800, rare small size with carved eagle over molded frame with original mirror plate, 16-1/2 x 17 x 6 in., cracks and separations at ebonized mirror surround, distress to mirror plate (probably original, not removed), scattered minor cracks in composition with some possible retouch to gilding, possible old restoration at eagle's plinth and at joint of legs to body.
