American or British, 18th/early 19th century, rectangular form, the top with fan and quarter fan inlay with burlwood inset panels, hinged lid opening to divided and lidded three compartment interior, foil lined interior, quarter fan inlaid sides, rich mellow color, 5-1/4 x 9-3/4 x 5 in.
