Bouillotte Lamp Signed "Thomire" Pierre-Philippe Thomire, French for the Russian market, early 19th century, gilt bronze three-arm bouillotte lamp, seated figure of a young man holding a wreath finial over a modern two-light fixture, central support with fruit and flowers, malachite platform base with three gilt bronze bacchanalian figures playing musical instruments, gilt bronze base signed "Thomire", 29-1/4 in. to top of finial; accompanied by a letter from Sotheby's and copy of a receipt from Pavlovski Dvorei dated 1993 and documentation relating to the inventory from Pavlovsk Castle with Russian inventory No. 567 label on the base. Condition: drilled and electrified, two figures currently attached to screws on malachite base need refitting.
