probably Newport, possibly from the shop of Goddard & Engs, late 18th/early 19th century, white pine, poplar, and maple secondary woods, dramatic herringbone inlay, old inscription to proper left interior board appears to read "T. Winsor", center drawer with antique label reading "Sideboard, Elizabeth Engs", 39-1/4 x 56-1/4 x 25-1/2 in.
