Chinese, probably 20th century, cover with floral finial and reticulated stylized devices and butterflies, two-handled cup of archaistic form, Buddhist design, four rows of bosses at sides, circular base, 1-1/2 x 4-5/8 in., on circular carved hardwood stand, regluing to finial, lid with minute chips to interior edges, internal fractures visible in body, one with chip at top rim, other minute chips to top rim.
