probably 18th century, bronze head with mellow early surface with traces of gilding and lacquer, 17-1/2 in.. Provenance: probably Gump‘s, San Francisco, circa 1960 (accompanied by letter assessing the head from Frank Caro Chinese Art, dated November 1966); Private Collection, Cincinnati, Ohio
