Inlaid Writing Desk probably late 20th century, in the style of Ruhlmann, burlwood and banded top over inlaid central concave drawer, flanked by two drawers with white-painted pulls over two cabinet doors, each with fountain and landscape central inlay in varied woods and faux ivory, back with illegible stamp, 30 x 44-1/4 19-3/4 in., excellent condition overall, pulls and hinges with later paint, cabinets lacking shelves, some minor crazing to faux ivory inlay, other very minor surface flaws. Provenance: back with sticker "Sotheby's Arcade Auction, lot 382"; Property from the Collection of Robert and Elizabeth Haskell, Little Washington, Virginia
