attributed to Charleston, South Carolina, circa 1795, hinged top with large inlaid oak leaf and acorn patera, inlaid figured mahogany skirts centering fine oak leaf and acorn oval patera on bellflower inlaid tapered legs, white pine secondary with ash fly rail, 29 x 35-3/4 x 17-1/2 in. open 35-1/4 in.
Condition
excellent condition overall, refinished, scattered minor repairs to veneers, repaired mortise on top of swing leg, stationary rear leg with minor crack and infill at back, some repairs at hinges with small screw holes in top, some replaced glue blocks, some minor warping to top and slight water damage at tips of feet Â
