Chinese, 18th/19th century, baluster form with broad shoulder and wide mouth, flanged dome-shaped covers with pointed knobs, deep aubergine eggplant skin purple glaze, base of one unglazed with glaze run, the other with three distinct areas of white glaze, 14 in. both pieces in good condition, glaze loss at base edge as made, some glaze anomalies and scratches to glaze, tape residue.
