New England, 18th century, scrubbed pine top with tray molding, set on a deeply scalloped maple frame with turned maple splay legs, retaining an early red stained surface, 28 x 27-3/4 x 23-1/2 in.

excellent condition overall, appears to be a one board top with some minor cracks, original blocking to top with some later nails, wear, losses, and unevenness to red staining, with some probable red color retouch
