Massachusetts, 1780-1800, frame with arched and sharply peaked crest over molded arms and arm supports, on molded square legs with stretchers, frame in rich, dark surface, green voided velvet and silk upholstery, 44 x 26 x 25 in.

visible frame in very good condition, typical minor bumps and wear to legs, legs formerly fitted with casters (now removed), some minor cracks and repairs at front legs, upholstery good overall with some light stains and wear to seat (not examined under upholstery)
