New England, probably Rhode Island or Massachusetts, late 18th century, figured top with inlaid edge above central drawer flanked by two cabinet doors, one opening to original cellarette drawer with fittings for six bottles, sunburst and bellflower chain inlays, fluted tapered legs and spade feet, white pine secondary, 39-3/4 x 72 x 27-3/4 in. - Provenance: Private Collection, Connecticut

good condition overall, typical veneer cracks to door panels and case sides with some associated color retouch and repair, minor sun fading, patch at one escutcheon, minor molding and inlay repairs, including at front corners of top, brasses and hinges replaced, one door with edge repair, later felt interior to central drawer and one cabinet, second cabinet possibly once fitted with a cellarette drawer (interior obscured by later felt)
