New York, circa 1790-1810, with gilt scrolled pediment above mahogany bookmatched frieze centering a conch shell inlaid patera, eglomise plate depicting a landscape scene flanked by gilt streamers, pediment with gilded urn with sprays of wheat and lily, old distressed mirror plate, 70 x 26-1/2 in.

fine original condition, seven leaves and two rosebuds on side garlands restored, typical checking and minor repairs to veneers, distress to mirror plate (probably original, not removed), surface wear to gilding, repair to urn top with retouch to gilding
