New York, circa 1815, very highly figured mahogany top with burlwood inset skirts with brass moldings, very fine construction, pedestal-form base with molded legs and brass casters, 28-1/4 x 35-3/4 x 45 in. (22-3/4 in. closed). Condition: refinished, top with sun fading, one leaf with veneer losses at one edge, veneer chip and patch in top near rule joint, break and repair to one leg, brasses probably replaced.
