attributed to Salem, Massachusetts, early 19th century, with figured mahogany top rotating over finely carved basket and fruit decorated skirt with punched background, leaf carved support on saber legs, 29-1/2 x 36-1/2 x 19-1/2 in. generally good condition, lacking caster wheels, one leg attachment loose and one with later shim, minor repairs at top of table support, bottom of skirt formerly fitted with brass banding (one small element remains), other veneer cracks and losses at base of pedestal, some patches at hinges of top, table does not sit flat
