circa 1780s, arched crest and deeply shaped wings, scrolled arms, molded square legs with stretchers, loose down seat cushion, green silk damask upholstery with brass tacking, 47 x 31-1/2 x 26-1/4 in.

extensive wear and tear to upholstery, upholstery back panel not removed for exam, legs and stretchers with early possibly original surface, medial stretcher with break and repair, typical bumps and wear at legs, frame appears to be in good condition (only partially examined under upholstery)
