attributed to Pennsylvania, circa 1800, painted dial with seconds hand and date ring, moon phase and geometric spandrels, brass movement, hood with scrolled pediment, waisted case with reeded chamfered corners, ogee bracket feet, rich mellow dark color, pendulum and two weights, 99 x 20 x 11 in., feet replaced, dial generally good condition, some blistering and losses at moon phase, other crackle, surface dirt and minor abrasions, the swan necks with breaks and repairs and later bracing at back, period saddle board (appears to be a good match), checking and cracks to door and base panels, lacking backboard behind hood.
