probably American, early 19th century, scrolled crest centering an oval shell patera, line-inlaid frame surround with patera-inlaid and scrolled drop, 49-1/2 x 25-1/2 in., one lower ear and one corner of lower drop replaced, break and repair at center of lower drop, beveled mirror plate an old replacement, scrollwork with some later bracing at back, some distress to mirror plate with scattered flaws.
