Chinese, 18th/19th century, baluster form rising to a wide trumpet-shaped rim supported on a splayed foot, enameled overall in famille verte palette on a mottled lemon yellow ground, butterflies fluttering around a pair of pheasants perched on stylized rocks with cobalt blue and ambergine peonies and magnolia blossoms issuing from the rocky ground, the unglazed stepped foot displays a fine and compact paste and is marked with underglaze blue double concentric circles, 15-1/8 x 8-3/8 in..
