circa 1881-1883, lead manganese and engobe glaze, footed bowl with strap lug handles, applied flower and vine decorations to front and back of jar, impressed ruffled band under tooled double banded rim, lid with applied bird and nut, incised banding, stamped "J.S." under lid, likely made by Anthony W. Bacher for J.E. Simons, 6-1/4 in.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction, or will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item.
