[Freres d'Armes,] signed on base "Eug Marioton", naturalistic base signed [Combattente Homme, Bons Freres Jurant Dene S'Abandonner Jamais, et Vivre et Mourier Ensemble] (Brothers in arms, both men warriors, good brothers vowing never to surrender and to live and to die together), inscribed on base in two places "Exposition 1889" and "Exposition Universelle 1889", 36 in. dark brown to black patination with wear, minor abrasions. Condition
Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser’s risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges.
