32 in. barrel, S/N 6130, visible serial numbers match, beaded ivory front and rear sights, left side of chamber marked "FR. WILH. HEYM/SUHL", left side of barrel is marked "(bullet symbol)KRUPP-LAUFSTAHL(bullet symbol) GP", frame is marked with an "(eagle), crown over U" and "Germany, 6130 AH", bottom of barrel has proof marks, fine floral and scroll engraving on frame, walnut checkered pistol grip stock, solid rubber recoil pad marked "Hawkins Pat'd", single trigger with a barrel selector, probably brought back from Europe in the 1940s

Condition

bore diameters are approximately 16.5 mm and 17.3 mm, original blue finish, a few small surface scratches, pitting and rust to barrel interior, especially at breech, a couple of tiny spots of rust to barrel exterior, light rust and corrosion to breech interior and barrel, dull wood finish to butt, rubber recoil pad has hardened, is discolored and chipped, firing mechanism appears to be mechanically sound
