17th century, wool, silk and metal threads on woven silk ground with some elements in raised embroidery showing woman, (possibly meant to symbolize "Harmony"), seated in a chair and playing a lute surrounded by fruits, flowers and a bird, with a snail and puppy in the foreground, 5-5/8 x 4-1/4 in.
