Field Gun London, 1952, cannon with marks for Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., all pieces with matching marks, .925 fine, reported to be 35.69 oz. T., 3-3/4 x 10-1/4 x 4-1/4 in.; with painted wood base with maker's label on base and paper label "52-1", later Plexiglas cover, 8-1/2 x 12 x 6-3/4 in. case; accompanied by copy of photograph of model being presented to U.S. Pike (Commander Royal Artillery, July 1951-May 1952), 1 Commonwealth Division, at Hill 355, Korea, 1952, in recognition of service; correspondence with Royal Canadian Artillery Museum, Royal Artillery Library, 2nd Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery; research notes including the tradition of The Silver Korea Gun; 18 labeled floppy discs; one labeled CD; copy of illustrated book by Chris Henry, The 25-Pounder Field Gun 1939-1972, 2002, cannon in good condition; base with some wear. Notes: one of five known models presented to participants in the shelling of Hill 355, Korea and associated with Canadian Royal Artillery or Royal Canadian Horse Artillery.
