French,ÿ19th/early 20thÿcentury, carved wood case with stepped rectangular base on bun feet with four turned column supports, centering a 5-3/8 inch gilt bronze dial with Roman numerals and foliate edges, works stamped "150" and "7-2", gilt bronze foliate, laurel wreath, and floral and ribbon swag appliques, gilt bronze pendulum with floral, foliate, and swan's head decoration, with winder key, 17-3/4 x 9-5/8 x 5-3/4 in.

Condition

surface dirt and accretion, scattered surface scratches, bumps, and small edge chips to wood case, one column with crack, one lower case side missing panel at base, one panel at base detached but present, feet loose, some losses to Roman numerals on dial, works missing bell,ÿpendulumÿwith solder repair to dowel and possibly associated (does not appear to have a fitting attachment point), not tested for functionality

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges. At our discretion, items will either be packed by an agent such as a packaging store or Brunk Auctions. Please allow two weeks for shipping after payment is received. Shipment of large items is the responsibility of the purchaser. We are happy to provide names of carriers and shippers if a purchaser so requests. Brunk Auctions will have no liability for any loss or damage to shipped items.
